Donor Transparency

Throughout fiscal year 2025, 99.15% of donations went directly to Palestine. Our operational costs accounted for approximately 0.85% of our budget.

In 2026, our operational costs increased as we now have paid staff members in an attempt to expand our efforts within the Gaza Strip and to reach other conflict zones to provide humanitarian aid and services. Our operational costs account for 10% of our total budget.

Operation Realife conducts our aid distribution under our umbrella program called the Harvest Program. 90% of our funds currently go to this program. There are two divisions, the first being aid distribution into Gaza and the second is aid distribution within Gaza.

Part One: Aid distribution into Gaza is a long-term solution for Operation Realife to purchase humanitarian aid and deliver it into Gaza. Logistically, this is extremely challenging to do and resource intensive. In March of 2025, a new set of NGO rules and registrations have made it even more difficult to deliver items into Gaza. We are monitoring this situation and eager to introduce this aspect of our aid distribution program.

Part Two: The other half of the Harvest Program is aid distribution within Gaza. We rely on other organizations bringing aid into Gaza and the commercial sale of goods in Gaza’s markets. Operation Realife coordinates with (I)NGO’s and/or purchases items for it to then be distributed effectively through our Harvest Initiatives. Additionally, we source items locally within Gaza to help support local businesses. We have internal measures to verify that our partners and every person we work with is impartial and not affiliated with criminal activity of any kind.

Every Harvest Initiative has a designated ID number, scope, funding proposal, requirements threshold, and target beneficiary population. These Initiatives will be published on our website through Press Releases upon their successful fulfillment and completion. Please note that an initiative’s funding being achieved does not mean the Press Release will occur immediately after.

In some instances we are not able to implement the Initiative right away - this is due to the constantly changing landscape of Gaza (geopolitical and otherwise). For example, sometimes the intended aid of an initiative may not be readily available. We have safeguards in place to ensure that all of our Initiatives are achieved, even if it means waiting for a period of time to fulfill it. Moreover we have contingency plans and other measures in place to ensure that we take every action to fulfill an initiative as intended. In the event that an Initiative cannot be fulfilled, we will be fully transparent about its unfulfillment through a Press Release. The bottom line: an initiative’s cancellation is a very last resort.
