The second Harvest Initiative (I-002) set out to get critical support to one hundred Palestinian's who are either seriously injured or seriously ill. All 100 of these individuals were in the hospital due to serious injuries, chronic illnesses, or life threatening diseases, cancers, etc.

Hospitals are faced with extreme shortages, with many operations being performed with inadequate equipment, no anesthesia, or other vital resources that are needed.

We have all seen countless families, children, women, and men turn to social media to ask for support, however, it is extremely uncommon to see videos of individuals in the hospital ask for support. They are some of the most urgent cases and in the most dire need, but due to difficulty in accessing the internet, they are unable to upload onto social media. In addition, they often cannot contact their families nor provide updates regarding their status.

It's difficult to endure health problems under the best of circumstances, and individuals in Gaza experience the most challenging realities due to shortages of food, water, medicine, staff - the list goes on.

That's why Operation Realife knew just how important it was to get relief to patients. Thanks to everyones contributions and efforts in amplifying our campaigns and website, we were able to get one hundred individuals one hundred dollars each to obtain the items they most urgently needed. For some, this was medications and treatments and for others it was transportation arrangements for their loved ones to visit, or a warm meal. This support was a much needed lifeline for people who are in the most unimaginable circumstances.

Each person our team met (from hospital staff to patients to families) were extremely thankful for your support of these patients. This is only made possible with you and your support.
